Dissertation title: A study of the vegetation of northeastern Arizona (Univ. of Neb. Studies, Vol. 24, no. 3-4)
Adviser: John E. Weaver?
Comments: R.J. Poole, a taxonomist, is given as much credit as Weaver in the acknowledgements in the published version of Hanson’s thesis, and may have been his formal adviser, although it is clear that Weaver was his ecological mentor.  According to his student Germain LaRoche, he also had lectures and went on field trips with <a Frederic E. Clements.
