Western Regional Editors’ Meeting, Spring 2018

On April 3rd and 4th, USNVC Regional Editors gathered in Fort Collins, CO, for a two-day meeting devoted to refining descriptions for western vegetation types. Editors worked collaboratively to develop a process for identifying gaps in descriptions of vegetation associations, and used their expertise to highlight crucial literature for filling these gaps. In addition to the hard work going on inside the conference rooms, editors also had the chance to get out into the field and explore vegetation types in the foothills of the Rockies.
