Earn Continuing Education Unit
We are excited to offer conference participants the opportunity to earn one Continuing Education Unit (CEU) for participation in the conference.
To earn a certificate for 1.0 CEUs will need to take the following steps before leaving the conference center on Saturday, March 16, 2013:
- Provide Payment, $10.00 per participant
- To pay online, complete the online conference registration: www.esa.org/ldc/form
- To pay at the Conference Center, submit the CEU Payment Form (.pdf)
- Complete and Submit the CEU Attendance Verification Form
The Review process will be completed by the College of Continuing Education at the University of Minnesota to ensure that CEU criteria are met. One CEU is defined as 10 contact hours of participation in an organized continuing education experience under responsible sponsorship, capable direction, and qualified instruction. Academic Credit:
Registration is now open for a 1.0 course credit from University of Minnesota, listed as a graduate-level “Special Topics: Science Education”
Enrollment details: CI 5540
The enrollment fee for non-degree seeking students is $322/credit.

Advanced Registration (by March 1, 2013)
- Complete a non-degree registration form.
- Please complete Parts 1 and 2 and sign in Part 4. Departmental authorization in Part 3 will be completed by Jessica McLain and then routed to One Stop Student Services for processing.
- Return completed form via e-mail to Andrea McMillen (andrea[at]esa.org)
- Look for an e-mail from the University of Minnesota with instructions to initiate account and pay the enrollment fee for course.
- Please allow 2-3 weeks for your enrollment to be processed. You will receive a confirmation mailing (via USPS) from One Stop Student Services with information regarding your student account. You must initiate your student account to gain access to your student account where you will pay your tuition in full.
On-site Registration (after March 1, 2013)
- Complete a non-degree registration form.
- Return completed form to registration desk at conference with a check made payable to the University of Minnesota for the total of the enrollment fee. (NOTE: The only form of payment accepted for on-site payment of enrollment fee is a check.)
