The ecological community gathers each year for the ESA Annual Meeting. The heart of our society is its members and the free exchange of scientific ideas. Thus, the theme for the 2017 photo contest was “Exchanging Ecological Ideas“.

ESA members snapped photos during the annual meeting to express the free exchange of scientific ideas. ESA awarded first place to Michelle Talal, second place to Christina Birnbaum, and third place to Pawel Waryszak.
